Today in Worship, we continue our sermon series called Follow Me as we return to the Gospel of Luke. Through these Scriptures, we will explore what it means for us to faithfully and obediently follow Jesus as he is revealed to us through the gospel of Luke. This week, we will look at Luke 11:1-13 as we explore the Lord’s Prayer and Jesus’ explanation of the power of prayer. The Lord’s Prayer helps us find a format and a structure for our prayers to God. Instead of seeing God as a one-way giver, we can enter a mutual relationship with God where we feel empowered to share our concerns and our needs with God in prayer.
