Today in worship, we continue our sermon series called Follow Me as we return to the Gospel of Luke. Through these Scriptures, where we will be exploring what it means for us to faithfully and obediently follow Jesus as he is revealed to us through the gospel of Luke. This week, we are honored to host guest preacher Mark Becker in all of our worship services as he thinks with us about Luke 12:13-21. Jesus tells the parable of the rich fool to highlight the importance of generosity and rethinking our priorities around money when we say yes to following Christ. As we celebrate one year of our Finish Strong Debt Reduction Campaign, we will remind ourselves of the importance of generosity to our own discipleship and give thanks to God for the abundance we have experienced in our campaign.
