Today in Worship we continue our message series, “Follow Me,” where we are exploring what it means for us to faithfully and obediently follow Jesus as he is revealed to us through the gospel of Luke. This week we will continue in Jesus’s sermon on the plain in Luke 6:37-42. Jesus continues to challenge us to follow him by examining the measure with which we are generous, and with which we judge. God has been generous and merciful to us, so it is up to us to continue to examine the specks and logs in our own eyes so that we might share that generous mercy with others.
